MBP History
More than 30 years of weighing accuracy
MBP was founded in 1980 and joined the PFM Group in 2002. Based in Castiglione delle Stiviere (Mantua) the company specialises in the design and manufacture of multi-head weighers with 8 to 24 heads as well as linear weighers and has a worldwide distribution network.
Outstanding precision and weighing speeds, flexibility, reliability, zero maintenance and ease of cleaning place MBP weighers at the cutting edge of current mechanical, hardware and software technology.
With annual sales increasing at the rate of 20 per cent, MBP now spends 8 ( or is it 10 as earlier) per cent of turnover on research and development, reflected in ever increasing technical and performance standards.
In 2006 the company introduced the revolutionary Series C2 weigher and in 2008 launched the Series C3 which represents the highest level of technology and performance available on the market today. The Series C1 is an entry-level budget weigher featuring the know-how applied to MBP’s top-of-range weighers.
In 2009 MBP introduced the Series C4 linear combination weigher aimed specifically at fragile products.
